We had twelve vendors to coordinate across a four-day celebration. Nodus kept everything in one place: every deposit, every confirmation, every payment schedule. The day arrived and we weren't firefighting. We were present.
Sameera and Arjun's wedding was never going to be simple. A Hindu ceremony on Friday, a Sikh ceremony on Saturday, an evening reception for 320 guests on Sunday, and a mehndi night for the women of both families the Thursday before, from 17 to 20 September 2026. Four events, twelve vendors, and one very large family WhatsApp group that everyone agreed was already out of control.
They found Nodus in May, about four months before the wedding, when Sameera's cousin mentioned it at a family dinner. Within a week, their vendor enquiries, deposits and contracts were all in one place on their dashboard. When the caterers adjusted their menu two months before the event, the change was logged and both families could see it. Nobody had to phone round to find out what had changed.
On the day itself, Sameera says the thing she remembers most is that she wasn't anxious. Every payment had been made, every vendor had confirmed. The planning was done. 'It sounds like a small thing,' she told us, 'but I was actually able to enjoy getting ready. I wasn't checking my phone every ten minutes. I was just there.'
