Compare Nodus
How Nodus compares with other ways to find and book wedding vendors. We take one company at a time, use only facts from its own pages, and say where we cost more.
Vendors will want the three pages on what each way of paying costs. Couples will want the page on WhatsApp and bank transfer, and the one on how payments work on Nodus. Every fact about another company comes from that company's own pages, with the date we checked it.

Our rules
How we write these comparisons
- One column per company. We never group different companies together.
- Facts only from each company's own pages, each with a numbered source and the date we checked it.
- Prices shown the way the company shows them, including whether VAT is added.
- We say where Nodus costs more, not only where it costs less.
- We make no claims about another company's regulatory status.
- We don't compare where we can't check the facts at source.
Questions
We read each company's own pricing, help-centre and terms pages and record the date we checked them. Each fact has a numbered source at the foot of its page. We recheck every page each quarter.
We could not check Hitched's supplier pages or prices at source when we last looked. We only compare what we can verify, so there is no Hitched page yet.
No. Nodus charges 3% founding or 8% standard commission, taken from each payment a vendor receives through Nodus. For busy vendors with high-value bookings, a directory subscription or pay-per-lead site can cost less. The comparison pages show where that line falls.
Yes. Nodus is free for couples, forever. Couples pay the vendor's quoted price and nothing else.
- Commission vs directory subscription: which costs a wedding vendor less?A directory subscription is a fixed cost, whatever it brings you. Commission is a share of what couples pay you, taken from each payment you receive. For a supplier on Bridebook's £1,033.50 + VAT yearly Classic plan, Nodus's 8% commission costs the same at about £12,900 of bookings a year. Below that, commission costs less. Above it, the subscription does.
- Nodus vs Bark for wedding vendorsBark charges you per lead: you buy credits and spend them to contact customers, with no commission on the job. Nodus charges nothing upfront and takes commission from each payment you receive through Nodus: 3% for founding vendors for 24 months, then 8%, or 8% standard. Which costs less depends on how many leads you buy and what you earn per booking.
- Nodus vs Bridebook for South Asian wedding vendorsBridebook sells subscription plans: suppliers pay £20 or £99 a month plus VAT, and venues from £99 to £995 a month plus VAT. The free Limited Profile is not in couples' general search. Nodus takes commission from each payment a vendor receives through it: 3% for founding vendors for 24 months, then 8%, or 8% standard. Both are free for couples.
- Booking wedding vendors on WhatsApp and bank transfer vs booking on NodusBooking a vendor on WhatsApp and paying by bank transfer often works well, but the agreement can be scattered across chats. On Nodus your messages and quotes sit in one place, every booking is confirmed in writing, and payments go through Stripe directly to your vendor. Nodus is free for couples.
