Nodus for bridal hair and makeup artists

Early starts, several looks across one weekend, and a bride who has to know you'll turn up on time. We're building Nodus around those mornings.

Price each bridal look, each trial and each guest on its own, get enquiries for dates and start times you can do, and take a deposit then the balance straight into your own Stripe account. You pay nothing upfront: commission comes out of each payment you receive through Nodus. Packages and the calendar are coming.

How bridal hair and makeup works for South Asian weddings

  • A look for every event. Mehndi, nikkah, anand karaj or pheras, baraat, walima or reception. Brides often want different looks, and some book different artists for each.
  • Early starts and hard stops. A morning ceremony can mean a very early start, and the bride has to be ready on time. Your start time and how many people you can do before it are part of the booking.
  • Guests add up. Mothers, sisters and bridesmaids often want hair and makeup too. Price per person, with a cap on numbers before the bride's slot.
  • Trials decide it. Many brides book a trial before committing. Charging for it, or deducting it from the booking, is your call. Say which.
  • Travel and kit. Home visits, hotel rooms, venue dressing rooms. Say what you cover and what travel costs.
  • Two specialists or one. Some brides book a separate hair stylist and makeup artist. Neither is locked out on Nodus.

Ideas for your storefront

Packages that suit hair and makeup

Examples only. Build yours with the package pricing template.

  • Bridal look, one event: hair, makeup, dupatta setting and lashes.
  • Bridal, two or three events: a look for each, priced below booking separately.
  • Guest hair and makeup: priced per person, with a maximum before the bride's slot.
  • Piece-by-piece extras: a trial, an early start, touch-ups between events, travel beyond your usual area.

Before you go live

Your storefront checklist

  • Brides with a range of skin tones, in daylight and in the venue's light.
  • A look for each event: mehndi, nikkah, anand karaj, pheras, walima, reception.
  • A "from" price for bridal hair and makeup, for each on its own, and per guest.
  • Whether you offer a trial, what it costs, and whether it comes off the booking.
  • Your earliest start, how many guests you can do before the bride, and whether you bring an assistant.
  • The areas you cover and what travel costs.

Brides remember who made them feel calm at 6am. Say how you run the morning.
