For vendors · How it works
How Nodus works for wedding vendors
One place to be found, take enquiries, send quotes and get paid. Here is every step, and an honest note on what works today and what is still being built.
Couples find you, enquire with their date and accept your quote. The booking is confirmed in writing, and they pay a deposit, then the balance before the event, straight into your Stripe account. You pay nothing upfront; commission comes out of each payment you receive.
What Uber did for getting a ride, Nodus is building for South Asian weddings: one place where families and the people who make their events happen can find each other, agree terms and pay. We are at the start of that, in the north of England, and the steps below say plainly which parts work today.
A better way to work
Why vendors choose Nodus
A free place to run your bookings
Storefront, enquiries, quotes and calendar in one place, free to use. Messaging works today. Packages, the enquiry pipeline, the quote builder and the calendar are coming.
Leads you don't pay for upfront
No subscription, no listing fee, no pay-per-lead. Commission is taken from each payment you receive through Nodus, so if nobody books, you pay nothing.
Fill your quiet dates
Keep your calendar current and couples will be able to filter by their date, so midweek and off-peak gaps get seen. Coming.
Paid without chasing
A deposit to confirm, then the balance before the event, straight into your own Stripe account. You set the deposit and balance terms.
Seen without your own ad spend
Ads charge you for every click, whether anyone books or not. On Nodus you pay nothing until a couple pays you.
For comparison, Bridebook publishes supplier plans from £20 to £99 a month plus VAT, and one UK ads agency puts most small businesses' Google Ads clicks at £1.50 to £2.50 each (Whito, July 2026, all sectors). Both are paid before anyone books. The earnings calculator and our commission vs subscription comparison show where each costs less.
The steps
From application to paid, step by step
1. Apply (live)
A short form: your business, category, the cities you cover and a link to your work. No cost to apply, no portfolio upload. We reply within 3 working days.
2. A 20-minute call (live)
We talk through how you work, your prices and your busy season, and confirm your terms in writing. Founding vendors get their 3% rate confirmed on this call. Have your prices and 10 to 20 of your best photos to hand.
3. Build your storefront (profile live, packages coming)
Your profile is your storefront: photos, the ceremonies you cover, where you travel, and your prices. Packages with inclusions and a fixed, "from" or on-request price are coming, alongside piece-by-piece services so families can add one thing without jumping a whole package. Start with the package pricing template.
4. Set your calendar (coming)
Mark dates as available, on hold or blocked. Confirmed bookings will block the date for you, and couples will be able to filter by their date, so the enquiries you get are for days you can take. See setting up your calendar.
5. Enquiries arrive (partly live)
Couples message you from your storefront. Messaging works today. Enquiries carry the event date, with guest count and budget fields coming, and an enquiry pipeline that shows new, quoted, deposit paid and complete is coming. Couples can enquire with as many vendors as they like, as they do everywhere.
6. Send a quote (partly live)
Reply with a price and what it covers. Quotes work in part today. An itemised quote builder, so a family can see the mehndi, the nikkah and the walima as separate lines, is coming.
7. Booked, in writing (coming)
When the couple accepts, the booking is recorded with the date, what's included and the payment dates. A written booking confirmation goes to you both.
8. Paid through Stripe
A deposit to confirm, then the balance before the event, each paid directly to you through Stripe. You set your own deposit and balance terms, and we give you guidance and a standard template. You pay Stripe's processing fees. The money lands in your own Stripe account, and Nodus never holds it. Commission is taken from each payment, and you see the rate and your settlement on your side of the booking. Couples see one price: yours.
9. Reviews after the event (coming)
After the event, the couple can leave a review marked "Verified booking", and you can reply. Nobody can review you without a completed booking.

- Check the numbers first in the earnings calculator, or read the vendor FAQ.
- Talk it through. Get in touch and we'll arrange a call.
Founding places are limited. See what the founding vendor programme includes, or read why Seehab is building Nodus.

Yes. Nodus is never exclusive. Keep your website, Instagram, word of mouth and any directories you like. Nodus is one more channel, and commission only applies to payments made through Nodus.
Reviews are coming. When they arrive, only couples who completed a booking with you through Nodus can leave one, labelled 'Verified booking', and you can reply. Testimonials from your past clients are shown separately and labelled as not verified by Nodus.
