The founding vendor programme
The first vendors on Nodus shape it. In return, you get our lowest rate in writing, a direct line to the founder and a say in what we build next.
Join as a founding vendor and your rate is 3% for your first 24 months, then 8%, confirmed in writing. There's nothing upfront and no subscription, because commission only comes out of payments you receive through Nodus. Seehab supports you directly, and you get a say in what gets built. Places are limited. We won't promise you enquiries. This page explains why, and what we promise instead.
The programme
What founding vendors get
The lowest rate, in writing
3% for your first 24 months, then 8%. The standard rate is 8%. Your rate is stored on your account and applied to every payment, and you see it on your side of each booking.
Founder support
Seehab sets up your storefront with you on a 20-minute call and stays your contact during the founding period. Email us and we reply within 2 working days.
A say in the roadmap
Packages, the calendar, the enquiry pipeline and the quote builder are being built now. Founding vendors tell us what matters in their category before it ships, in a monthly check-in.
Early visibility
Your profile is live before most vendors join, as couples in your city start to arrive. Founding vendors also get extra visibility through our launch articles and social posts.
Our commitments, in writing
The founding vendor charter
These are the promises Nodus makes to every founding vendor. They go into your written terms.
- Your rate in writing. 3% for 24 months, then 8%. We won't change it for the founding period.
- Nothing upfront. No subscription, no listing fee, no pay-per-lead. Commission is taken only from payments you receive through Nodus.
- Your price is the price. Couples see one price, yours, and never a fee on top.
- Your money goes to you. Couples pay directly into your own Stripe account. Nodus never holds your money.
- Never exclusive. Keep every other channel, and set your own prices elsewhere. We won't ask you to match prices.
- Your client relationship stays yours. We don't stop you sharing your contact details with a couple.
- Honest reviews only. Reviews come only from couples whose booking with you is complete, and are labelled "Verified booking". Your own testimonials are shown separately and labelled as not verified by Nodus.
- Honest numbers. We won't publish platform figures until they are real, and we will date them when we do.
- Straight answers on what's live. We tell you what works today and what is coming, and we update you as things ship.
- Notice before changes. We give you at least 30 days' notice before any change to commission rates, and at least 14 days' notice of any other material change to your terms.
- Easy to leave. No minimum term. Email hello@thenodus.uk to close your profile and export your data.
Being straight with you
What we don't promise
We can't promise enquiries or bookings. Nodus is new, and couples are joining as vendors do. What we can say is this: you pay nothing until a couple pays you, so trying costs you the time for one call and your profile.
We also won't tell you commission is always cheaper. For some businesses, especially high-value bookings, a flat directory subscription can cost less over a year. Our commission vs subscription comparison shows where that happens, and the earnings calculator works it out for your own numbers.

No. Founding vendors keep every other channel: their website, Instagram, word of mouth and any directories. Couples can also enquire with as many vendors as they like.
When you join. Your 24 months at 3% start on the day you join Nodus as a founding vendor, and the rate then moves to the standard 8%.
