How does the commission work?
Nodus charges vendors a commission of 3–8% only when a booking on the platform completes. The exact rate depends on your category and volume. There are no monthly fees, no listing charges, and no payment required to apply. Couples pay a small platform fee on confirmed bookings — which covers booking protection and platform management.
What counts as a completed booking?
A booking is considered complete when both the couple and vendor confirm the service has been delivered as agreed. For weddings, this typically means after the event date. Payment is held securely on the platform and released to the vendor within 2 working days of the completion confirmation.
Is there a minimum booking value?
There is no minimum booking value on Nodus. Commission applies equally to all completed bookings regardless of size.
What if I want to cancel a booking?
Cancellation terms depend on the vendor's published policy, which is displayed clearly on their profile before you book. Nodus enforces these policies transparently on both sides. If you cancel within the vendor's penalty-free window, you receive a full refund. If you cancel later, the vendor's stated terms apply.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. For couples: free to join, browse, message, and manage bookings. A small platform fee applies only when a booking confirms. For vendors: no monthly fees, no listing charges, no setup cost. Commission applies only when a booking completes. That is the entire fee structure.
How do instalment payments work?
Couples can spread their vendor payments across the planning window rather than paying a large lump sum upfront. You set the schedule — Nodus holds the funds securely and releases each instalment to the vendor on the agreed milestone. All funds are held in a Nodus-managed account until release.
