How does the commission work?
Nodus charges vendors a commission only when a booking completes — founding vendors at 3%, rising to 3–5% as the platform scales. No monthly fees, no listing charges, no payment required to apply. Couples pay a platform service fee at checkout, shown as a separate line item before payment. The blended take rate across both sides is 3–8%.
What counts as a completed booking?
A booking is considered complete when both the couple and vendor confirm the service has been delivered as agreed. For weddings, this typically means after the event date. Payment is processed through Stripe and documented against your booking confirmation.
Is there a minimum booking value?
There is no minimum booking value on Nodus. Commission applies equally to all completed bookings regardless of size.
What if I want to cancel a booking?
Cancellation terms depend on the vendor's published policy, which is displayed clearly on their profile before you book. Nodus enforces these policies transparently on both sides. Your booking confirmation documents the agreed terms, so both parties have a clear record.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees on either side. For couples: free to join, browse vendors, message, and manage your wedding dashboard. How do instalment payments work?
When you book a vendor through Nodus, you can agree a payment schedule at the point of booking — a deposit to confirm, with further payments on dates you and the vendor agree in advance. Each payment is a separate charge to your saved payment method, processed automatically by Stripe on the scheduled date. Nodus does not hold funds at any point. Each payment settles directly to the vendor’s Stripe account when it processes. You receive a reminder before each charge and a receipt immediately after. Your booking confirmation sets out every payment date and amount. This is not a credit arrangement — each payment is advance payment for confirmed services under your booking.
