Bark charges per lead and takes no commission. Nodus charges commission. On a high-value booking, 8% commission can cost more than the credits you would spend to win the same job on Bark. We have not included Hitched, because we could not check its supplier pages at source.
Nodus is free for couples. Vendor commission is taken from each payment a vendor receives through Nodus, so there is nothing to pay until a couple pays.

Everything you need to know about pricing
Nodus charges vendors a commission on each payment they receive through Nodus: 3% for founding vendors for their first 24 months, then the standard 8%. Vendors who join after the founding cohort pay 8%. No monthly fees, no listing charges, and nothing to pay to apply. Couples pay nothing to use Nodus.
Commission is taken from each payment you receive through Nodus (the deposit, then the balance) as each one is paid. Stripe deducts it automatically before the money reaches your account. There's nothing to pay upfront and no subscription.
There's no minimum booking value on Nodus. Commission applies the same way to every payment, whatever the booking size.
Cancellation terms are the vendor's own, as long as they don't conflict with the Nodus terms. You can download them from the vendor's storefront, and they're shown alongside every quote, so you see them before you book. If a vendor cancels, Nodus steps in to help you find a replacement. Your booking confirmation records the agreed terms, so both sides have a clear record.
No hidden fees on either side. For couples: it's free to join, browse vendors, message and manage your wedding dashboard, and there's no fee to book either. You pay only the vendor's own price for what you book. For vendors: no monthly fees, no listing charges, no setup cost. Commission is taken only from payments you receive through Nodus. That's the entire fee structure.
You agree the payment plan with your vendor when you book: a deposit to confirm, then the balance before your event, each paid directly to your vendor through Stripe. Every payment is made before the service is delivered and recorded against your booking confirmation. Nodus never holds funds.
